10+ YEARS IN THE INDUSTRY

  • Design Manager, UI/Visual Design

    • Manages the International Development Team of talented (5) UX and UI designers.

    • Facilitates Level of Effort conversations and ensures the team is adequately allocated across various projects

    • Works with project managers to ensure projects within the International Development practice are adequately staffed.

    • Leads hiring and interviewing efforts and assists the recruitment team with hiring new talent within the UX/UI/Visual Design/Communications practices.

    • Leads onboarding efforts for new hires

    • Leads 1:1, Mentorship, and Professional Development conversations with team members.

    • Uses Human-Centered approaches to build team morale and to ensure a vibrant, positive team environment.

    • Manages and Leads design projects within the International Development practice area as well as internal communications and collateral.

    • Functions as a brand steward, giving guidance and instruction on how the Bixal Brand experience could be utilized and improved across all mediums.

  • Senior Graphic Designer

    Worked alongside marketing department teams to redesign and implement a new intranet and internal news page. Produced various company advertisements for different mediums and revitalized existing designs to compete with current trends.

  • Senior Designer / UX

    Spearheaded development of clear, compelling designs for print, digital, event and collateral experiences across programs and across the enterprise. Collaborated with internal and external teams to create communication vehicles including annual reports, conference materials, website, intranet, presentations, newsletters, and email design.

  • Graphic Designer

    Worked as a cross-team design resource, creating and designing flyers, email templates, proposals, logos, infographics, etc. Led conceptual exploration and content curation on various projects.

  • Graphic Designer

    Developed & produced brochures, flyers, branding, social media posts, email newsletters and various marketing materials for all regional and local Unicomer subsidiaries including Courts & Lucky Dollar Furniture Stores, Servitech etc.

  • Graphic Designer / Prepress Operator

    Created & redesigned company collateral and marketing material. Prepared client files for digital press and offset press.

  • Web Designer / Photographer

    Designed, maintained, and uploaded news articles to the newspaper website. Helped curate and capture custom photography for news articles.
